"Welcome to the 21st World Scout Jamboree". It's so great that I can be part of the Jamboree. Apart from being a youth member in the Hong Kong Contingent, I am one of the members in the Contingent Reception Working Group. Through all the preparation, the reception was held today (30 July 2007).
Before the Contingent Reception, we had a special thanks reception for two of our main sponsors - Dr CHAU Cham-son and Mr Frank PAO. I was one of MCs. Although it was short, it was meaningful and sweet. The song - You Raise Me Up, was a present to our sponsors. The reception was held successfully.

Then, it's followed by the Contingent Reception. It was quite difficult for me as the rundown of the reception was changed and the performers didn't know the rundown etc. Most of them were solved, but my French MC partner didn't show up finally. It's a scared thing that I have to do it by myself. I was nervous, speaking quietly, my voice was very low. But through the encouragement from the working group, I finally did it, and it was very good, lots of leaders appreciated me.
My job was just finished, then the Jamboree TV came I didn't expect I'll be the one who can take part in it. I represented HK in the video, and introduced the Lion Dance and the Chinese Orchestra. It was my first time to do something like this. It was fun and memorable. I am looking forward to the video.
As time goes on, it's 31st of July in HK...My birthday!! It is a very special Birthday I've ever had. Since I was working in the HK Contingent Pavilion, lots of leader sang happy birthday song to me. It was so sweet!! It's an unforgettable birthday; It's a birthday that's full of love and joy.
